I moved to Florida the summer I turned 12 after living overseas for much of my life. My father was in the military, Army, and we were stationed in Panama, Germany and lived in Ireland when he was in Viet Nam. It was a great life and my siblings, and I got to see and experience things we would not have otherwise. With that said, I do consider myself a Floridian. I graduated from Bishop Moore High School, attended Valencia, graduated from UCF, Go Knights! and Florida State University, Go Noles! I support all Florida teams, but I am partial to the Magic and Bucs. I love Orlando because there is always, something to do and lakes and parks are numerous which is great for dog walking.
Fortunately, humor runs rampant in my family because I spend a great deal of time with them. The family dinner has always and will always be one of my favorite times of the day. I love learning and the Internet, specifically Google, has made me a prolific “surfer”. Ask me a question and I’ll find the answer as well as plenty of unsolicited information, which is a great segue into my absolute favorite game – Trivia. I’m constantly disappointed in the lack of careers that would utilize all these useless facts in my head.
I’m a whenever the spirit moves me artist. Watercolor is my favorite medium but every now and then I get a wild hair and dabble in acrylics.
